No promises.
Just what happens.
Most website quotes are a price and a promise. This page is the opposite: exactly what happens, what you get at each stage, and everything included that you would usually pay extra for.

How long it actually takes
What usually costs extra
Every one of these is quoted as a separate line, an add-on, or a "phase two" somewhere else. None of them are extras here.
With me
You approve three things first
Most people find out what their website looks like when it is finished. By then, changing it is expensive. You will have said yes three times before a single page is built.
01. First, a mood board
Colours, typefaces, photography, the whole feel of it, laid out before anything is designed. You look at it and say yes, or say what is wrong.
Changing a mood board takes an hour. Changing a finished website takes a week. This is why it comes first.

02. Then, a plan of every page
I send you a link to a document listing every page on your site and every section on each page, in order. You read it on your phone, we talk it through, and we change whatever needs changing.
This is where projects go wrong: the site gets built, and then you realise a whole page is missing. Sorting that out on a document takes ten minutes.

03. Then, your homepage
One page, designed properly, with your photos and your words in it. You review it and we adjust until it is right.
Everything else follows that direction, so by the time you see the rest of the site there are no surprises left. Every file comes to you for approval before we move on.

is not to build a new website. I would rather say it than take the job.

How to get ahead of your competitors
Your site goes live with the technical side already done. The list is about what comes after that: how to pull ahead of the businesses you are up against, and stay there. What to claim, what to ask your customers for, what to publish, and the order to do it in.
Written for your business, not a generic PDF. What a carpenter needs to do is different from what a therapist needs to do.
Most of it costs nothing and takes an afternoon.
Still not sure a website is the answer?
Book the call anyway. Thirty minutes, no pitch. If a new website is not what your business needs right now, I will tell you what is.
