What clients say

Real feedback from business owners who made the switch to a faster, better website

Working with Alex on my new website has been such a lovely experience. From the beginning, she was gentle and patient in her approach and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I never felt rushed or that I was asking for too much, even when I changed my mind or came back with another little detail, nothing was ever too much trouble. Alex tried to understand me and my work, rather than simply creating a website. She took my ideas and brought them together beautifully, while still making it feel like me. She was professional and reliable throughout and respected the timeframe we agreed for publishing the website, which was very important to me. I’m genuinely so pleased with the final result and very grateful for all the care she put into it. Thank you, Aleksandra, for listening, for your patience and for bringing my ideas to life so beautifully. I would recommend you wholeheartedly. ❤️

As a professional speaker and learning partner, having an up to date website that is enticing, responsive and attractive is critical. I recently worked with Aleksandra who has the fantastic skill of transferring everything from your head into a fabulous website. She is patient, clear, thorough and highly talented - genuinely a joy to work with. In a world where there are so many out there making promises that are broken, Aleksandra bucks that trend and is one of the very best to work with. She has designed an amazing Webflow site for me and I couldn't be more thrilled with it. If you are looking to create or update your website, I have nothing but praise for her. Thank you Aleksandra for bringing my vision to life through your expertise and brilliance. If I need to update in the future, I'll be back to you in a heartbeat.

I am so happy with the results. My website is wonderful and professional. Working with Alex was a great experience. Her holistic approach makes lots of difference for someone like me who’s not familiar with IT language and has little knowledge about SEO etc.. thank you very much .

Alex migrated our WordPress site to Webflow without losing a single ranking. The site loads noticeably faster, the CMS is something our team actually wants to use, and the whole project landed on time and exactly on scope.

A local developer who delivers exactly what's scoped

I'm a certified developer based 10 minutes from Worthing town centre. I work directly with business owners - no account managers, no outsourcing, no chasing for updates - to build clean, fast websites that actually do something for your business.
After 30+ projects I know what works for West Sussex businesses. Every project is fixed-scope, transparently priced, and built to last. You'll deal with me from first call to launch day.

How I work

My simple 4-step process

No lengthy discovery phases. No vague timelines. You'll know exactly what's happening at every step, from first chat to launch day

01

Discovery chat

Tell me about your goals, audience, and timeline. I'll tell you straight what I'd recommend.
02

Scoped proposal

A fixed-scope proposal with a clear deliverables list, price, and timeline. No surprises, no scope creep.
03

Design & build

I design and build in parallel, sharing progress updates as I go. You review and give feedback at key milestones.
04

Launch & handover

Full launch support, DNS setup, redirects, and a handover session so you're confident managing your new site.
What yoiu get

What every build includes

The same foundation goes into every project, whether it is one page or eight. It is not an upsell list.

Most website projects stall in the same place. The client has not written the words yet, and the build sits waiting.

It is one of the signals behind which businesses appear in the local map results and which do not.

Almost no local website has it. It is invisible, so no client ever asks for it, and most developers never add it.

Every build I do includes it, and you do not have to take my word for it. Paste your finished URL into Google's Rich Results Test and you will see exactly what it reads.

Client-First is the framework Finsweet built for professional Webflow work. Every class follows a convention instead of being invented on the spot.

Three things follow from that. Pages stay light, so they load fast. You can add a section next year without breaking the layout. And if you ever hire someone else, they can read the build instead of starting again.

Most sites are assembled the other way round. It is why they turn fragile after a year.

Set up and checked, not left on a list for later.

You will see which pages people arrive on, which ones they leave from, and where your enquiries actually came from.

That last one matters more than it sounds. Without it you are guessing, and guessing usually means paying for the channel that is not working.

MOST LOCAL SITES SKIP THIS

Schema is code inside the page that states your business name, address, service area, opening hours and reviews directly, instead of leaving Google to work it out from your paragraphs.

Page titles and meta descriptions written for each page, not one line copied across all of them.

Heading structure in order. Alt text on every image, describing what is actually in the picture. Sitemap generated and submitted to Search Console on launch day.

None of this is clever. It is just done, and on most sites it is not.

When the site goes live you get a written guide to it, not a generic PDF. Screenshots from your own pages, in order, covering how to change text and prices, add photos from a recent job, and publish anything running on the CMS.

If you hit something the guide does not cover, message me and I will walk you through it.

No retainer, no monthly fee, nothing to cancel. Ongoing help is there if you want it later, but you are not signed into anything on launch day.

Who I work with

Business website design in Worthing & West Sussex

From high street retailers to professional services, I've built websites and platforms for the kinds of businesses that make up the West Sussex economy

Trades & Home Services

Trades win work on proof, not on copy. A gallery of finished jobs, before and after shots and reviews on the page do the quoting before anyone picks up the phone. See the carpentry website design, the landscaping site built for a Worthing garden company, or the gardening service website.

Health & Wellbeing

People choosing a practitioner decide on credentials, cost and whether the first step feels small enough to take. Published prices and a reviews page they can actually read do more than a contact form ever will. See the hypnotherapy website design or the counselling website built for a BACP registered practitioner.

Speakers, Coaches & Training

Speakers get booked by committee, so the site has to satisfy the enthusiast, the sceptic and whoever handles the paperwork. Event organisers need photography, a bio and A/V requirements on one page, ready to download. See the speaker website design built across fourteen pages.

Startups & SaaS

A product site has to explain the thing before it sells it, and your buyers rarely search for the product category. They search for their own platform, so those pages have to exist before anyone can find you. See the SaaS marketing website migrated from WordPress to Webflow across 69 pages.

Common questions

Everything you need to know before getting in touch

How much does a website cost?

Every project is scoped individually and quoted at a fixed price before work begins, so you know exactly what you are paying for, with nothing added on later.
The process is simple. We talk, or exchange a few emails, and I send you a short brief to fill in. From that I put together a written quote with a fixed price, a deliverables list and a delivery date. Filling in the brief commits you to nothing. You get the quote and then you decide.

How long does it take to build a website?

Most projects go from kick-off to launch in 1 to 4 weeks. You'll typically have a first design draft to review within 4-5 days of the project starting. Timeline depends on scope and how quickly you can provide feedback at review stages.

What platform do you build on?

Primarily Webflow, built on the Client-First framework. It's fast, clean, and gives you a CMS you can manage yourself without touching code. If you're currently on WordPress and want to migrate, that's a core service - all your SEO value is preserved and the new site will load significantly faster.

Can I update the site myself after launch?

Yes. CMS-based sites come with a full handover session so you can confidently update content yourself - blog posts, team pages, service listings, prices - all from a straightforward dashboard, without needing a developer.

What if I don't like the design?

You review the design at defined milestone points before development begins. Revisions are built into every project, and I won't move to the next stage until you're happy. The fixed-scope proposal also means you know exactly what's included from the start.

Do you work outside Worthing?

Yes. I work with businesses across West Sussex including Brighton, Shoreham-by-Sea, Lancing, Littlehampton, and further afield. I'm happy to meet in person anywhere across the county, and also work fully remotely when that suits the client better.
