A Custom Webflow Site for a Worthing Hypnotherapist

Gabi Metiu is a clinical hypnotherapist and EMDR practitioner in Worthing, and a registered nurse with thirty years in healthcare. I rebuilt her site in Webflow on ClientFirst, structured so an anxious first-time visitor reaches a free consultation.

  • Reviews page on Webflow CMS - Gabi adds each new one herself.
  • Testimonial slider, same collection - write once, show everywhere.
  • Services run on the CMS - description and photo for each.
  • Load more, 15 reviews at a time - 37 stories, fast first paint.
  • Prices edited in the CMS - no developer to change a fee.
  • Custom animations - calm motion, nothing that jolts.
  • No developer on retainer - Gabi runs the whole site herself.

Problems & solutions

Thirty Years of Practice and a Dead Website

Problem
Gabi’s previous site had aged out and then stopped working entirely. Anyone who searched her name after a recommendation found either nothing or something broken. For a registered nurse with three decades across oncology, neurology and clinical research, the gap between the standing of the practice and its presence online was doing quiet, continuous damage.

Credentials That Announce Themselves

Solution
The build leads with qualification. A scrolling credentials strip sits directly beneath the headline: registered nurse, thirty-plus years in healthcare, EMDR practitioner, clinical hypnotherapist, DBS checked, BSCH member. Before a visitor reads a single line of service copy they already know this is clinical practice rather than a weekend certificate.

More Than 30 Reviews Doing Nothing

Problem
Years of client feedback sat on Google, where only someone already searching her name would ever find it. For a therapist, reviews are the single most persuasive asset there is, and hers were invisible to anyone arriving cold. One former client had even written a book with a chapter about his EMDR sessions.

A Reviews Page Built to Be Read

Solution
Rather than burying testimonials in a carousel, the reviews get a page of their own, running on a CMS collection so Gabi adds each new one herself. Thirty-seven stories load fifteen at a time, broken up by full-width image cards so the layout alternates rather than becoming a wall of text, with load more keeping the first paint fast.

Invisible Locally and Hard to Approach

Problem
Someone searching for hypnotherapy or EMDR in Worthing was not finding her. And the people most likely to need this work are the least likely to phone a stranger about it. Anxiety, trauma and phobia clients need a first step small enough that they can actually bring themselves to take it.

Local Structure and One Very Small Ask

Solution
Page titles, headings and service copy are written around how people actually search: hypnotherapy Worthing, EMDR West Sussex, fear of flying, driving anxiety, dental phobia. Session prices sit in the open instead of behind an enquiry form. The only call to action anywhere on the site is a free, no-obligation consultation

Health & Wellbeing

Built Around How Therapy Clients Actually Decide

Gabi needed a site that carried the weight of a clinical background. Nobody books a therapist from a features list, so it answers in order: credentials, evidence, cost, then whether you could sit in that room.

Working with Alex on my new website has been such a lovely experience. From the beginning, she was gentle and patient in her approach and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I never felt rushed or that I was asking for too much, even when I changed my mind or came back with another little detail, nothing was ever too much trouble. Alex tried to understand me and my work, rather than simply creating a website. She took my ideas and brought them together beautifully, while still making it feel like me. She was professional and reliable throughout and respected the timeframe we agreed for publishing the website, which was very important to me. I’m genuinely so pleased with the final result and very grateful for all the care she put into it. Thank you, Aleksandra, for listening, for your patience and for bringing my ideas to life so beautifully. I would recommend you wholeheartedly. ❤️

Results

A practice that looks as clinical as it is

The credentials strip, the nursing background and the veterans work all register within seconds of landing. Gabi now sits where she actually belongs, alongside clinical practitioners rather than general wellbeing services, and that changes both who enquires and what they expect to pay.

Reviews finally earning their keep

Thirty-seven client stories now sit on a page built to be read rather than scrolled past, and Gabi adds new ones herself in the CMS as they come in. For a service bought almost entirely on trust, moving that proof off Google and onto the site is the single biggest change the rebuild makes.

A first step small enough to take

Published prices and a free consultation remove the two things that stop anxious people making contact: not knowing the cost, and not knowing what they are committing to. Enquiries now arrive from people who have already read the service page that matches their situation.
