Construction Website Design - Proof You Can Step Through

A Custom Webflow Site for a Family Building Firm
LRC Builders is a family firm in Lancing with over forty years of extensions, brickwork and renovations behind them, and no website to show for it. I built them a Webflow site on Client-First where every job can be viewed before, during and after.
- Before, during and after slider - see the job, not just the ending.
- Five CMS collections - Leigh updates every one himself.
- Filterable project library - browse by trade, load more.
- Eleven CMS pages from two templates - all separately rankable.
- Floating WhatsApp button - one tap to message from any page.
- Google Analytics 4 - shows which trade brings the calls.
- GSAP scroll animations - motion that guides, not decorates.

Everything That Changes Lives in the CMS

Nobody Doubts the Finish, They Doubt the Middle
Forty years of work existed only as word of mouth. Homeowners letting a builder into their house are not worried about the final photograph, they are worried about the six weeks before it, so the site shows those weeks.

Good to know
How do you show before and after photos on a Webflow website?
Webflow has no native before and after component, so it is built with CMS image fields and a small piece of custom code. On the LRC Builders site each project holds up to three photographs, before, during and after, and the visitor switches between them in one fixed frame rather than scrolling through three separate images. Where a project has no middle photograph, that button hides itself automatically.
What should a builder’s website include?
Photographs of real jobs rather than stock imagery, the towns covered stated in plain text, a way to get in touch that is not only a form, and separate pages for each trade so local searches land somewhere relevant. Published prices matter less for building work than for a fixed-price trade, because every job is quoted, but the service area and the proof of work are not optional.
