A Custom Webflow Site for a Google Ads Agency

A Custom Webflow Site for a Google Ads Agency
Brass Tacks is a founder-led Google Ads agency for UK e-commerce brands, built by Martin Davies on twenty years in paid media. I built a single-page Webflow site on Client-First that argues the case for profit over ROAS and ends in a free audit.
- Stripe integration - vouchers and subscriptions, set up per client.
- Self-serve billing portal - invoices and cards without emailing.
- Qualifying enquiry form - asks monthly ad spend up front.
- Six-question FAQ accordion - answers objections before the call.
- Subtle scroll animations - motion that paces the argument.
- One page, anchor navigation - no click between problem and price.

Problems & solutions
A New Name With Twenty Years Behind It
Problem
Owner had twenty years in paid media and client relationships running past ten, but Brass Tacks was a name nobody had heard of. The brands he wants turn over between £1M and £20M and hand across six-figure ad budgets. Nobody does that on the strength of a logo and a contact form.
Proof That Arrives Before the Pitch
Solution
The site leads with evidence rather than promises. Anonymised client results sit high on the page: £20.9M in revenue across 300,000 orders at 4.5x, £2.36M from £412k of spend at 7.7x, and relationships measured in decades against an industry average under two years. Credibility lands before anyone is asked for anything.
An Offer That Needed Explaining Before It Could Sell
Problem
Managing to profit per product category instead of ROAS is the entire point of the business, and it is not something prospects arrive already understanding. Explained badly it sounds like jargon. Explained well it reframes what they thought they were buying. A generic agency template would have buried the one thing that makes the agency worth hiring.
A Single Page Sequenced as an Argument
Solution
The page opens on the uncomfortable truth that revenue can rise while profit falls, sets Brass Tacks against how most agencies actually work, then shows the in-house platform that turns an ad account into a live P&L broken down by category. By the time the reader reaches pricing, a flat fee instead of a percentage of spend reads as obvious rather than surprising.
Every Client Arrived Through One Contact List
Problem
New business came entirely through Martin’s network. That works until it does not: referrals arrive on their own schedule, they cannot be scaled on demand, and they leave the whole pipeline resting on one person’s relationships. A brand that had never heard the name had no route in at all.
A Free Audit That Gives Strangers a Way In
Solution
The free profit audit asks for almost nothing: two exports, no account access, a call with a twenty-year specialist, and a profit picture the prospect keeps either way. A clean Webflow structure, fast load times and copy written around how e-commerce owners actually search give the page a route in from Google alongside the referrals.

Service Business
Built Around How E-Commerce Owners Actually Decide
A brand-new name needed credibility with brands turning £1M to £20M. E-commerce owners want the numbers, the price and the catch in that order, so the page gives all three before it asks for anything.
Alex has done a great job, I got exactly what I asked for. Alex has been really quick to help and make any adjustments post launch. Would highly recommend.

BRASS TACKS
Results
A new brand that reads as established
Brass Tacks launched with a site that leads on twenty years of results rather than a founding date. Prospects arrive already knowing the track record, the method and the price, so the first conversation starts from whether it fits rather than whether the agency is any good.
Enquiries that arrive already qualified
Publishing the flat fee and the £1M to £20M turnover range does the filtering a sales call used to do. Brands outside the fit stop before the form. The ones who complete it have read the pricing, understood the profit-first method and still want the audit.
Growth that no longer depends on one contact list
The audit gives the agency something to point people towards from search, from LinkedIn or from a referral, and all three land in the same funnel. New business is no longer capped by how many conversations the founder can personally have in a week, which is what a referral-only pipeline quietly costs.
