A Custom Webflow Site for a Keynote Speaker and Author

Jackie Handy is a keynote speaker and author with thirty years in leadership and audiences across forty-two countries. I designed and built her a fourteen-page Webflow site on Client-First, structured around one route from first visit to booked call.

  • Donato Hub integration - enquiries land straight in the CRM.
  • Podcast library on Webflow CMS - Jackie adds episodes herself.
  • Pop-up podcast player - listen without leaving the page.
  • Floating diagnostic button - the quiz launches from any page.
  • CMS reviews, filtered per page - each page shows the right proof.
  • Press coverage on the CMS - added as it lands.
  • PayPal integration - payment taken on the site.
  • Custom animations - motion that guides rather than decorates.

Problems & solutions

A Career’s Worth of Work and No Structure to Hold It

Problem
Thirty years of leadership, a trademarked framework, two books, a podcast, a diagnostic and a bureau network. Individually all strong. Together, without an architecture, just a list. The problem was never a shortage of material. It was that nobody had decided what the site was for, in what order, and for whom.

Architecture First, Design Second

Solution
I mapped the information architecture before drawing a single screen: what earns a page of its own, what belongs inside another, what a visitor should meet first and what can wait. Fourteen pages came out of that, each with a job to do. The design was then built to serve the structure rather than the other way round.

Two Audiences and No Route for Either

Problem
Jackie sells to two very different people. An event planner needs a bio ans photographs. An HR or L&D director needs to understand a framework and a programme before they will start a conversation. Serve both of them badly on the same page and both of them leave.

A Page That Does the Event Planner’s Job for Them

Solution
Event planners get a page of their own: downloadable photographs, full bio and one sheet, an event promise split into before, during and after, complete A/V requirements, and the bureaus that represent her. Everything a planner normally has to email for and wait on is already sitting there. Leaders take a separate route, through the framework, the training and the diagnostic.

A Brochure Site Would Not Have Been Enough

Problem
The site had jobs that a set of static pages cannot do. Capture leads from a five-minute diagnostic and return a personalised report. Carry pre-orders for a Routledge title. Host a podcast, feed a newsletter, serve press assets on demand. Every one of those is an integration, and each one is a place where a build quietly fails.

Every Integration Built In, Not Bolted On

Solution
The FlowFinder diagnostic, the newsletter capture, the press and speaker downloads, the podcast and the book pre-order are all wired into the build rather than sitting beside it. Jackie runs the whole thing herself. Nothing on the site needs a developer to change, which for a speaker adding talks and testimonials every month is the difference between a live site and a stale one.

Built Around How Speakers Actually Get Booked

Jackie needed one home for work that had outgrown a single page. Speakers get booked by committee, so the site is built for all three: the enthusiast, the sceptic, and whoever does the paperwork.

As a professional speaker and learning partner, having an up to date website that is enticing, responsive and attractive is critical. I recently worked with Aleksandra who has the fantastic skill of transferring everything from your head into a fabulous website. She is patient, clear, thorough and highly talented - genuinely a joy to work with. In a world where there are so many out there making promises that are broken, Aleksandra bucks that trend and is one of the very best to work with. She has designed an amazing Webflow site for me and I couldn't be more thrilled with it. If you are looking to create or update your website, I have nothing but praise for her. Thank you Aleksandra for bringing my vision to life through your expertise and brilliance. If I need to update in the future, I'll be back to you in a heartbeat.

A site that matches the room

Jackie’s credibility is built in front of an audience. The site now carries the same authority before anyone has met her: thirty years, forty-two countries, ten thousand leaders trained and twenty-four named testimonials from HR directors and event leads, none of which a visitor has to go looking for.

Event planners who stop having to ask

Photographs, full bio, one sheet, A/V requirements and the event promise all sit on a single page, ready to download. The back and forth that used to fill the gap between an expression of interest and a confirmed date has largely been designed out.

Owned IP that finally reads as owned

The Matter Model and Million Dollar Moments now have their own space, their own explanation and a case study with numbers behind them: over one hundred moments created in ten minutes, one hundred and thirty-two miles walked, eight thousand pounds raised. That is what separates a speaker with good talks from a speaker with a framework, and it is what supports a higher fee.
